I find lighting behind the projecor position can be fairly bright. I have a recessed light directly behind mine and I can have it on and get a good picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine set up in my basement. I have a rather large egress window with a good amount of sun light and 8 recessed lights. I can see the picture perfectly fine with lights on high and no shades drawn on the egress. I wanted mine for football as well and I have no issues whatsoever with light. I does look brighter with lights off but again, I'm not watching football in a dark room with my buddies. It performs.
