Sorry I can't answer your question but I can say the sound from the projector itself when using the Appletv apps is extremely quiet and very disappointing. I took my 1st one back and the replacement is just as bad . The only way I can get a better volume is to hook up my laptop to the hdmi ( so then the Appletv apps are useless because you can't hear them) and powered speakers to the projector audio out at max levels. But HBOmax is still low volume and others are still quiet and hard to hear. With the laptop and powered speakers netflix is ok and some others are passable volume. This projector has serious audio deficiencies.
