Hi SJohn, The Home Cinema 2250 can connect to Bluetooth speakers for sound output. Make sure the Bluetooth speaker is A2DP-compliant. The HDMI port is version 2.2 compliant and will carry audio and video to the projector. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
