“I want to use this to project onto canvass but it says smallest screen size is 29.9"--The picture and the canvas are smaller than that so will it just blow up the size of the picture to 30" (when canvas is only 18"?)--wouldn't be useable then.”

hi I thing you can used because the size of the image depend of the distance where you locate the projector in between ( the canvas and the projector ) this means more closer the projector to the canvas more small the picture and you can adjusted the sharpness of the image with the lent rotation that have it...I try with one projector different brand and I get the 18 inches but I loose some sharpness because the lent don't move more and the distance in between was 4 to 5 foots ….so I thing its cheap to used a led tv they run almost the same price on that size or cheaper unless you going to used the projector for different things later
