“Hello, I am not very tech savvy, and just want a projector to connect to my macbook for displaying stored photographs. Would this be a straight plug and play with an HDMI cable, will it mirror the images. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.”

This is a great projector. And don't use anything less than a HDMI cable. For better resolution. You can plug it in directly, just remember you have to adjust the projector for straight or upside down mode. Your computer should pick it up automatically. Or just follow instructions on the screen.
