• This scans on my hard drive on my desktop computer, and since a laptop functions the same as a desktop, I am sure it will work the same and save on the laptop hard drive.

• I scanned directly to a dropbox folder, but it allowed me to choose a location, so you could choose a local folder on your laptop.

• I have it set up to scan to on my different folders on my computer's desktop depending on what type of scan I am doing (1 pg, 2 pg, both sides, more than 1 sheet).
