- Answer It uploads the scanned sheet into its own software, then I just download it as a pdf and file it away in my own folders on my desktop.

QuestionThis scanner seems ideal, but does it scan by "feeder" type only? I'm interested in scanning material from books. I've never had one and wonder if the device scans as a vacuum per say, from the bottom of the unit swiping motion.
