I did not use to scan baseball cards but did recently use to scan photos and it was done in seconds. The photos were various sizes and you have the option to scan front and back into one JPEG or PDF. Or you can change your settings to scan single sided only as I did. Again, I love this scanner. Super fast!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The jpeg file specification only covers a single image. You could scan both sides at once and have the program put them into a single PDF file instead. Of course if you wanted the highest quality image you wouldn't be using a lossy compression format like jpeg anyway. You would probably want TIFF, and you could do Multi TIFF for multiple images although sometimes they aren't handled well by every application. The paper path is fairly straight on this scanner. I was able to scan a plastic credit card without any issue. But it does grip with rubber rollers so if your cards are fragile and expensive I would stick to a flatbed scanner.
