“What type of color ink and in what format is ink offered. Is it other than individual cartridges? Epsom makes a printer that has a color ink supply which lasts 2 years and that is what I am looking for”

• No this printer does not not have the eco tank. This one uses regular cartridges.

• Printer ink cartridges are measured in pages, not in length of time. In fact, it is usually recommended to use the cartridges within 6 mos. for best results with inkjet (according to the manufacturer) The 4 separate (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) cartridges that come in the box with this printer will print 500 pages black, and 450 pages for color, so your mileage may vary. :) Here is the web link to the support page and user guide for this printer where you can find further info: https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd53015/index.html
