“Can it scan an open book? How large physical ddimension can it scan?”

• My Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840 can scan an open book; however, the quality of your scan results will depend upon how flat the book will lay on the glass. For the attached example: I scanned an open book which measured 13.5" across both pages, and 10" high. The book is 1-3/4" thick when closed, so the binding kept it from laying flat. If it were softbound, you'd likely get a better image. The scan bed is 11"x17", which is nice.

• Hello Ron. Yes, you can scan open books with the WF-7840. The maximum scan area on the flatbed is 11" x 17". Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
