• Yes, individual ink tanks can be replaced independently.

• Hi Chris, The WorkForce Pro WF-7840 has individual ink cartridges. You replace them as they are expended. You do not need to replace the entire set. All cartridges must be installed for the printer to operate. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
