“I am confused on the fax function, I am used to faxing from my printer, fax, copier to another fax via home phone lines, does this not fax via landline phone lines? how do I fax from a computer?”

Hello Confused59. Yes, the WF-7840 fax feature can only be used with a telephone landline. You can fax from the printer's control panel or via the Fax Utility software from a computer.
