No — this printer cannot scan film negatives or convert them to positives.The WF-7840 is a standard flatbed/ADF document scanner and does not have a transparency unit or film holder, which are required for scanning negatives.

Please try again later.Yes, but I use a paint program to inverse the image. when I scan at the highest resolution to ensure a high-quality print when enlarged. it like the difference between high grain film and low grain film. the more pixels @sqin the better. but this can be done with any high-resolution printer. this allows for a 13 by 19 print with the rear feeder.
