I’m not sure of the technical speed, but it’s quite quick. I do a lot of double sided scanning and that goes quick as well. It’s in my email in seconds.

For my setup, an 11"x17" scan set at 300 dpi takes 15± seconds. I did one scan at the max setting of 1,200 dpi which took 2+ minutes to complete. One annoying feature of the software was the lack of a scan progress bar in the "progress" window which appears when the scan starts. I've talked to Epson about the lack of this feature and they stated the new software doesn't do it. Just don't understand Epson. This feature is real useful on scans that take some time as the status bar would give you an idea of how much time is still needed to complete the scan. My older Epson WF425 had this feature.
