Max 2 radar. You have to be quick on the brakes with Lidar. Very hard to beat.

Plus the police tend to point it at licence plates (at least in states that have front plates) or other reflective surfaces so it may not be anywhere near your detector. The Max2 will do just as good a job as any.

Escort has an add-on for their detectors that can absorb and redirect the laser that would be the most beneficial to you I think. It attaches to the outside body of the car I believe.
