When using the Floodlight Cam E340 with a cloud subscription service, you do not need a microSD card or a HomeBase for viewing and storing recorded incidents. The cloud subscription service allows your video clips to be stored and accessed online. However, without a cloud subscription or local storage (microSD card or HomeBase 3), the camera will not save event video clips. It will still provide live video feed and motion notifications even without these storage options.
