- Answer Yes, the Floodlight Cam E340 can be mounted from the ceiling. It is designed to support both wall and overhang (ceiling) mounting. When installing the camera for an overhang mounting, be sure to reinstall the mounting base first, and follow the provided installation instructions to ensure proper setup. The recommended mounting height is 8 feet (2.44 meters) from the ground for optimal motion detection performance.

- Answer this camera provides 24/7 recording as it is powered all the time. the only camera they sell that is limited is the solar powered versions of eufy cameras. This is due to trying to say power on the solar powered versions, but this oneYou can either record to the SD card or to your homebase 3 for continuous recording.
