- Answer One HomeBase( HomeBase 1 or Homebase 2) supports up to a combination of 16 eufyCams and 32 sensors. In most cases, the system’s range can cover a house of 3000sqft. Normally, the distance between the camera and Homebase would be within 20ft-25ft. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of HomeBase. - The HomeBase 1 has a backup battery build inside if the power turned off I dearly hope that this answer can help you and if I missed something or you’ve got additional questions, please feel free to email me back, I am here ready to help you.

- Answer It will notify you of any and all movements so, if you are moving the lawn it will send you a notification everytime you walk in front of it.

QuestionCan you choose when to record? Say that the camera could not detect movement bc the object was out of range, can I still have the option to record a video of the out of range object?

- Answer You can manually click record and it will start to record. Once you stop it, the video will be saved to your phone gallery and not inside the Eufy app. It goes the same with a snapshots, you can take any snapshots and it will be saved in your gallery. It has to be done manually.

QuestionI would like to know how far away motion detection works with these cameras? Do I have to have them within 25, 50, or 100 feet of the area, door, or building I want to keep an eye on? I'm interested in the distance during the day.

- Answer I consistently detect motion at about 40 to 50 feet. It will identify a person at about 30 to 40 feet.

- Answer That's not the way I know it. You have to press the record button. I'm under the impression it gets stored for 7 days but that's enough time for you to have done something about what you have on your phone

- Answer The Eufy does not have PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom). No battery cameras do, that I know of. However, the Pro cameras are 2K, and the image quality and digital zoom are pretty good.

- Answer Eufy has alot of cameras some have lights. The 2 Pro and 2 Pro 2k cameras do not have lights. Four IR lights at night. There is a led Floodlight camera that does not have IR lights. Motion turns on led floodlights.
