Yes. You can choose to record just motion-triggered events. You can also set the zone and sensitivity of the motion detection and the video quality to reduce used storage space. We review our videos and delete them if not needed so space is not an issue. The continuous recording is a setting you have to turn on as it is not a default setting but an option.
