A: This doorbell CANNOT currently connect to the HomeBase station. Video is stored locally on the doorbell device itself. It cannot be stored on the HomeBase station. Customer service says that the capability has been discussed but no decision or timeline have been given.
Q: Does this camera support homekit?
A: This video doorbell does not support HomeKit. It does support Alexa and Google though...
Q: Does this unit have a battery backup to power the device if power is lost through an outage?
A: No it doesn't. The other thing I didn't like about this wired system is that it bypasses your original chime box so that it doesn't work anymore. Supposedly, the battery operated system lets you use your original chime box at least that's what the Eufy Rep. said. So I'm switching mine out.
Q: Does this new version require a Homebase to work or does it work on my homes wifi connection?
A: This version does NOT require a HomeBase to operate. It connects directly to your homes WiFi connection. All video records directly to the device itself. There are 32GB of storage on board. No monthly fees is a huge bonus!

A: Hi! Yes this new product from eufy Security does have night vision. It also has the 3-second pre-buffer. The 32GB of local storage also allows for continuous video recording. This is a brand new product from eufy Security and is available only at Best Buy.
