A:Answer I’ve not tried continuous recording. It is available without the base. I don’t use a base. The app is where you’d go to view any recording. That said, the doorbell camera captures most things going on on my porch without continuous recording. I’ve have to peg back sensitivity so I’m not constantly being alerted. There’s enough on board memory to where I capture relevant activity throughout the day.
It’s a very good doorbell system. I’ve had a few different ones, this is definitely the best one.
