“I got this card paired with core i5-3470, Z77 Extreme4 and 8gb ram. Everything works fine but my monitor revolution has downgraded, I can't go 1080 without a zoomed in picture and messy lettering. I have a ViewSonic- vx2452, before I went 1080 now no idk.”

Make sure you have all the device drivers for your monitor. There may be one specific for this setup so check with ViewSonic to see what solutions they offer. Also try the default windows driver to see if you can get desired results.
