The indoor cameras work okay through glass, but reflection seems to effect the quality of the pictures. And if the lights on the camera are on, and you have the camera set up behind glass, all you get is the light from the camera reflecting off of the glass...there is no picture at all. I have not tried using the outdoor camera behind glass.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you cannot use night vision IR as there will be reflection due to the glass. If you have a street light or your own light in front of your house, then it should be bright enough without the need of IR. Also, if your planning on using it indoors, then you should get the indoor version and save some money.
