• In my experience, that usually means pre-orders are currently sold out.

• Best Buy handled this item poorly. It's readily available for order right now, so they must have had copies that could have been pre-ordered. The closest store to me with stock is 25 miles away. This is the first game carried by Best Buy that I won't be able to buy and play on release day.
