• It was open for pre-orders when it was announced a while ago, but those preorders sold out within that day. BB will usually hold a small number for release day, but I guess this one was super popular (or the bots nabbed it all :/).

• I believe that's their placeholder. I found it about 30 minutes away from my house, Yesterday. It's still in stock in some other stores (many towns away).
