Went thru 2 Fitbit charge HR' s in 2 yrs & I was very careful w/ them & am not that active. Last time, the plastic piece that surrounds the charging ports came loose & eventually snapped in half. Is the Alta HR made any better? Considering changing brand. null

I have owned mine for over a year and I have not seen any true wear and tear. I wear mine almost every day. I only have to charge it every 5-6 days still. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with HR. This one does not charge the same and i do not think it will have the same problem

My Fitbit Charge HR was horrible and I lost it just walking around in Chicago one time. The Alta HR is made much better in my opinion and it’s nicer on my wrist.

I actually wear mine on my ankle most of the time, and it holds up great. My first one lasted over 2 years, but eventually gave out. I've had this one for just over a month and expect great things. The Alta has interchangeable bands, so that may help the breaking issue? So far so good!
