• No, it won't. I caugh a really heavy rain with it and I accidentally entered shower with it and it was perfectly fine. I just wiped it dry.

• I wear mine to the gym and it seems fine with sweat, you do have to loosen the band and wear it slightly higher to get an accurate reading for the heart rate. I have not worn it in heavy rain, but light rain it seems to be coping fine.

• I have not used this in the rain. It works during sweaty work out, but they recommend you clean and dry the device after each time.
