• Yes and no. It's attached to the straps by pins. More accurate the straps are attached to the frame but are removable by pushing in the little pin handle to click off the strap to change out with different ones. The frame is a completely independent piece of stainless steel that the straps attach to and the Fitbit tracker clicks inside of.

• No. The strap is separate, but very easy to install. There are little pins that allow you to easily remove the old band and replace it with the new one. Much easier than traditional watch band replacement that require special tools or very small fingers.

• No, this product only includes the strap. I purchased the band thinking that I would get a frame along with the band/straps based on other responses to your question. This is not the case. All you get with this particular product, that currently cost $29 and change, is the strap, which you can then connect to a frame that you may already own. The only way you can get an extra frame is to purchase the more expensive fitbit leather and metal bands that currently cost anywhere from $99 - $129. I wish you could purchase the fitbit frame alone. I have check with the fitbit company and even they don't sell just the frame.

• Yes it is attached to the straps but the straps come off of the frame, into two pieces. The watch comes completely apart if needed - frame, band (2 pieces), Fitbit unit.
