I sometimes shower or swim with mine. I always kayak with it. I’ve had no problems. It’s advertised to use with swimming

However I take mine off when in shower and doing dishes, primarily because the screen protector I have will get water between it and the screen. Also, Fitbit recommends taking it off and drying it when finished with wet tasks. Keeping moisture under it or any other item on top of your skin may cause irritation, and the charging contacts are underneath it so best to take it off long enough to dab it and your wrist dry.
