I got the protection plan but when the screen went blank i went to get a replacement under the protection plan and they only gave me store credit now im out a watch till i can get a new one.

Definitely get the warranty. These watches break frequently (within a year) during normal daily activities. When its working its great. But that screen will begin to flicker and eventually go black.
