Q: Questionwill it monitor sleep apnea symptoms, heart rate.
Asked by curious.
- A:Answer The Fitbit Flex doesn't monitor heart rate you'd have to upgrade and get the Fitbit Charge HR or the Fitbit Surge. This band will monitor your sleep. You tell it when you go to bed and then it tracks when you are restless or awake based your movements.

Q: QuestionDoes phone have to remain on for band to track sleep and vibrate for alarm?
Asked by MnstrMike.
- A:Answer No. The phone or PC is used to set an alarm, but the band will vibrate at the set time without the phone or PC being on. Turning the sleep mode on and off is done by rapid tapping on the Flex. The PC or phone can be off while sleep is being tracked. Even if the sleep mode is not turned on, the Flex still tracks sleep. When the phone or PC is turned on one can entered a time of going to bed and of getting up; once the Internet connection is made, the information is synced.

Q: QuestionI am allergic to latex. What is the Wristband made of?
Asked by alita.
- A:Answer I also have an allergy to latex. The band is a manmade material that is water and sweat resistant. Cannot be worn in shower or lake. Make sure you dry your skin under the band well to prevent chaffing. I wear mine while doing dishes, powerwalking, cleaning house and gardening. No problems and have been wearing it 24/7 for 3 mos. I only take it off to shower. Hope I was of help.
