Currently, I have the Fitbit Sense 1, and I have a sports band that I paired with it, will the new Fitbit 2 fit? Are the measurements of the two brands identical in size? null

Yes, the same bands seem to fit from my original Sense 1.  It's missing many of the features of the Sense 1 though, it's essentially a downgrade from the original

I think the bands are the same. I ordered a dressy band from amazon that was advertised as compatible with all the following models: sense 2/sense/fitbit versa 4/versa 3.  The band did fit on my sense 2 when it arrived.

Just a pro tip though: the sense 2 is a downgrade from the Sense 1, so if your sense 1 is still functioning, I would not shell out 300 bucks for the sense 2.

My old but likeable Stainless  band doesn't fit the new Sense 2.
be aware they are still selling this band on Amazon and the seller is saying it is compatible but its not.

Maybe. the band that comes with the Sense 2 is the same as the Sense 1. I had a leather one with plastic connector that works just fine with both, but I also have a sports band with metal connector that only works with the Sense 1.

My silicone bands fit, but the metal bands would not click in on one side. The watch itself is thinner and lighter weight. The screen is the same size, but where the original Sense has a black outline around the screen that will blend with a watch face with black background, the band around the Sense 2 is kind of a dark gray and is easily seen with a watch face, even one with a black background.
