• You can click on the watch to delete or answer a call, however, you have to talk on your phone, not the watch. Same for text notifications. You can read most of the texts and clear it on the watch, but you can’t send texts back, at least using iOS (iPhone). With the Versa 2, it has a microphone to communicate with Alexa, to set alarms and reminders.

• From the newest Fitbit Versa 2 you cannot answer or make calls but you are notified on the watch when a call is received. You cannot send texts from the watch but are notified on the watch when a text is received.

• You can see your text messages and who is calling but it does not have microphone capabilities to respond to the text or answer the call
