You open the Fitbit app on your phone. Select your Fitbit Versa or Ionic in the top left corner. Select wallet then added your card. If it's from a supported bank it will add it to your watch. I bank with US Bank and it required me to call them to verify with them that I wanted it added. Once added you hold the left button on the watch itself, enter your four digit security code you created and then scan the watch at the NFC section of the card reader at the store.
