• Without premium app, it is just a OBDii scanner; you get only the code. The premium app gives access to a bit more advice by interpreting the code, and also connects with a technician service for online advice.

• It's still worth it, in my opinion. But, there's nothing like having someone confirm what you think you know. Besides, the premium came with a 7 day free trial.

• Yes if you don’t want to upgrade you don’t have to it will still work the same way
