• This isn't a GPS tracker. It's used to read the diagnostic computer in your car when your check engine light comes on.

• Rosie, I do not find any reference to this capability. Since it is bluetooth to your phone it would be possible to identify location provided your phone is with you. A fair question is are you asking for privacy or safety reasons. It is fairly easy to contact FIXD with questions.
