Only if the issue is generating a fault code. Go to one of the national auto parts stores and have them 1) check for codes 2) test your battery and charging system. If you've confirmed that no lights are on (check brake lights at night too!) then the next step is to have a shop do a parasitic battery drain check on your car. This test checks how much each circuit is pulling from the battery. If one circuit pulls much higher than the others this gives a clue and that circuit should be checked.
