It is supposed to work with every car., 1996 and newer. I have a 2005 Toyota Camry and it works on my car. The FIXD is really a big help and my sister just purchased one for her Volvo. Due to the information it gave me I was able to pass my DMV emissions test. Also, I found out the reason my check engine light was on——- loose gas cap. IAfter the diagnosis the FIXD was able to turn the check engine light off. It was a relief to find out that my check engine light on was not due to a serious problem. You will not regret the purchase.

They didn't have an detailed answer for the code but they emailed me the detailed info later. This is a different kind of scanner.
