No, and there is no on/off switch either. Plugged in is ON, unplugged is OFF. It reaches only one temperature, which is "warm" but not "hot", and then it self-regulates on and off to maintain that "warm but not hot" temperature from there. This will only happen if its being used as a base layer under you with other regular blankets over top to trap in all the heat.
