To test the device after installation you can press the setup button to put the device into setup mode. Ring Smart Alerts filter out wanted and unwanted motion based on the settings you have for the camera. The Smart Alerts feature allows you to choose the notification and recording options for person and other motion. Depending on the current settings of your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, other motion may not be enabled to record or send alerts. To review this setting and make any changes, please follow these steps: 1) Tap the menu (≡) on the top left. 2) Tap Devices. 3) Tap the device that you want to adjust. 4) Tap Motion Settings. 5) Tap Smart Alerts. 6) Tap Enable Feature. (If the feature is already enabled, you can skip to step 8). 7) Tap Continue. 8) Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion. You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications. 9) After you've adjusted your settings tap Done. Follow these steps to update your wifi or reconnect your device: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (≡) in the top left. Tap Devices and select the camera you'd like to reconnect. Tap the Device Health tile. Under Network, tap Change Network. Tap Change Wifi Network, then follow the steps in the app. You can choose to use Movement or the Setup Button to reconnect. If your camera is too high to easily access the button, choosing Movement will reconnect your device to wifi by using the camera's motion detection. Tap Continue and follow the prompts in the app to reconnect.
