A:Answer As this is an old question, you probably already decided. I have the $199 version and see several advantages to the more expensive version. 1 - a marinating box ($21.99) is included so you don't need to also buy a box for that or for crush-able food (chips, berries).. 2 - having the drip tray easily removed for dishwasher cleaning is very nice. 3 - having the sealer below the bag dispenser and auto starting is easier than holding the bag high while pressing the bar in two places 4 - a reverse button if you pulled out too much bag beats having to open the unit and manually rewind the roll before remeasuring. Is this worth the extra $100? Depends on how you value the extras and your budget.
