A:AnswerUnfortunatly, this range cannot be converted to butane. It does however come with a propane conversion kit and can be converted to propane from natural gas.

Heat is expelled from multiple areas of the unit such as the top vents and these vents above the knobs. Do not worry, they can become warm because this unit is very powerful however it respects all safety certification and is always safe to the touch!
