• Yes, you can download games from the Google Play store and can text with Smart Reply, Voice to Text or a tiny keyboard on the display.

• There are games for Wear OS. You can text from the watch, but I have found it somewhat cumbersome unless you are using voice to text or the quick reply options you're provided.

• The Play Store has a category for all the Wear OS apps they have. There doesn't seem to be many games. I think the small display would make interacting with a game pretty difficult. You can definitely message/text from the watch. This is done either with a very small on screen keyboard or voice to text.
