We received a free 30 day trial offer for Sling TV when we recently purchased a Samsung 4K TV. This was just about 10 days ago. There was a code on our receipt that we went to use....however beware even though it's free, they ask for a credit card and tell you that your card will be charged after the Trial Period is over. At this time, we chose not to use the trial offer and provide our credit card info.

Easy way is to use bestbuy app under purchased there an option to redeem , but you need to add credit card information even for free trail ,then if u don’t want cancel it.

Initially, I had the same problem! Then I checked my original Best Buy cash register receipt. It provided me with all the needed information. Hopefully, you saved your receipt to refer to. Otherwise call the store where you purchased the system from and perhaps they can be of assistance.

Go to the sling website and activate. Your Best Buy receipt should have a code for your 30 day trial, and once you put the code in the website will take you through the rest.

i was confused with it too, i got my receipt emailed to me and on the receipt there is a customer service number you can call regarding any issues with activating your free trail. I called it because i didint see a code and they emailed me it, it was in a junk foler. Good luck! hope this helps

BestBuy would've sent you the email after your purchase. In the email their is a code that allows you to use the service for free for 30 days. You will need that code in order to receive the 30 days offer. Check your email again as it should be there.

Sling and ROKU are different companies. We bought a Roku tv and in the ROKU app it told us that our sling ID was invalid. I called ROKU they referred me to sling. Their website is Sling.com. Sign up there.

Go online to sling.com. It’s fairly simple to set it up. Make sure you set a reminder tho the day before your 30 free days ends so you don’t get billed. And you don’t want to cancel during your 30 days free because that ends the service effective immediately. Also, if you have any problems setting up you can call their customer support line. They are quick and extremely helpful. After you set it up on your browser you can download the app on your phone or whatever and manage your account from the app. Good luck!

Make sure it is the correct email that you registered the information to be sent to. Once you find the email you will need to sign up on line. If you still can not find the email with the sling code I suggest contacting best buy to see what they have on file. A simple type o will prevent you from receiving the email.

If you’re looking to stream a ‘cable’ experience... compare channels between Sling and DirectTV Now. I’ve noticed a considerable difference in channel options ( regardless of low to more expensive packages ). I personally like Direct TV. The basic package comes with tons of channels!!! And 20 hours of DVR recording. DirectTV Now also has free streaming trial periods! Good luck

After you create your account with the promo code on a computer or phone you have to log in the first time on the device you are going to stream with...a roku, firestick, blu-ray player or TV with the app. It also works on whatever device you created the account on. If not you'll have to call them. I called once and they have decent customer service, short wait times etc.

As I remember, you have to go to their website and enter the promo code for your free trial. You also create a password that you need when you log in on your streaming device. I was able to access it on my Roku, but not on my HiSense smart TV. Not all smart TVs work with Sling TV.

When I bought the Fire TV, Sling for 30 days was also offered to me. However, in order to activate it, you must sign into your account and once you have completed that crucial step, you will receive an code via email; at which time you will enter that code into the space provided.
