QuestionWhat is the total width with the door open?

- Answer Hi James. The width of the microwave is 30 inches and when the door is opens it remains 30 inches, so the door opens up within that 30 inches. Also when fully open it is just shy of 90 degrees so even when fully opened if I measured the width including the door handle it measures about 1 and a half inches less wide than the overall width of the microwave so about 28 and a half inches of width with the door open. hope that helps. My wife and I love the microwave.
