QuestionWhen using the regular BAKE setting, there is a fan running. Is that normal? I thought the fan was only related to the CONVECTION BAKE setting?

- Answer Hi there. We do recommend allowing the oven to preheat for 15 minutes before baking. Preheating is not necessary when cooking casseroles, or broiling most foods. Kindly, Anna

QuestionI find the Model CFEF2422RS manual confusing. I set the clock, OK, but there is a Timer active indicator icon that is always showing. What does this mean? Is it broken? Is there any indicator to let me know that the oven has reached the temperature I set?

- Answer The timer is for setting the oven to run/heat for the time it is set for.

QuestionThere is an icon on the timer display of a flaming pan between the hours and minutes. Manual says it’s a timer active indicator. I have not set any timer. Why is it lit?

- Answer Hi, Sully! Thank you for reaching out to us. As you have stated, the timer active indicator will appear if the timer function has been pressed. To turn it off you will need to press timer on-off until the desired function option appears, and then press and hold or at the same time. The timer function will go out after several seconds. You are able to view these instructions on page 18 in the manual.
