Is the lid foam-insulated? What about the body? null

The lid has a thin foam insulation layer. In a chest type freezer, that is normal, since cold air is heavy and stays in the box. I just added a folded quilt on the top as an extra layer to prevent the lid from sweating and rusting. So far, so good. The body has the condenser coils, so it is not cold to the touch. This is a standard design feature in reefers and freezers.
