“where is the drip vent located? I have an ac current in my apt window; however the drip vent is located too close to the window ledge and it drips on the ledge creating mildew on the ledge and down the side of the bldg. Therevre i ned toesure the drip vent is more towards the rear of the ac. Pls get back to meas soon as u cN”

It should be fine. I only have about six inches of the unit inside the room, the rest is outside. I haven't seen any moisture inside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchase a room a/c Frigidaire 12,000btu unit and so further no problems with drip vent. measure the drip vent on the above unit. Put bleach on the window ledge and that will kill the muldew. The drip vent is near the back of the unit.
