A:AnswerUnfortunately, there is not such kit to convert this model. Frigidaire sells three slider/casement units to fit this type of window, in 8k, 10k, and 12k btu sizes. All three of these units are normally available through Best Buy.
Thank You,

A:AnswerYou *might* be able to get this to fit. I measured at it appears that it is about 20" to 20.5" wide with both side baffles. You may be able to install just one side baffle to save about 0.5". I think it would fit, but it's hard to say for sure.
A:AnswerYes and no. Yes because it will fit, as it fits in my 41" wide window. No because the side baffles do not extend out far enough to reach both sides of the window, they are about 6" short.
My solution was to simply cut a small piece of wood to fit on one side. I found some white shelf material at a local hardware store for that. Then I slid the wood into the window, attached the baffle to the sash (sliding window) and frame on the bottom, and it holds the wood in place. This was really easy, and only took a few minutes with a saw.
You can also use a piece of cardboard and blue painters tape (so it doesn't leave residue when removed) if you want a simple or temporary fix. :)
A:AnswerUnfortunately, this model will not work in a through the wall installation, I have recommended the next size up, a 15,000 btu unit, that will work for a through the wall installation.
Thank You,
