• larger BTU air conditioners may need 220, but this until doesn't use that much juice. Have your electrician rewire the outlet and the circuit breaker servicing the outlet and save some energy!

• You would have to get a higher btu air conditioner to get it in 220 volts. Maybe order one on line? We have the 12,000 btu and it's a regular 110 volt plug.
